That team, surprisingly, is Ferrari; they plan to rename the team Scuderia Marlboro Ferrari Gold Leaf Team Lotus Renault Lotus Ferrari.
When asked what he thought of the new team name, Felipe Massa said, "It has a nice ring to it".
Ferrari will also paint the nosecone of their car gold, in the style of the Gold Leaf Lotus's of the late '60s and early '70s. This will mean that all three iconic Lotus liveries will be present on the grid this year, with Fernandes taking the green with yellow stripe, and Renault plumping for black and gold.
It seems Ferrari are fully commited to becoming Lotus. Stefano Domenicali has even grown a moustache, and started wearing a strange '70s cap, just like Colin Chapman.
The FIA hope to resolve the issue at the World Motor Sports Council early next month.
